The German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), in cooperation with the Institute of World Policy, Kiev, invites you to a public panel discussion
Nearly two years after the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, Ukraine is in a fragile transition period. While the country remains in a conflict with Russia and the separatists in the Donbas region, a fundamental reform process has started. Ukrainian elites have the clear goal to integrate with the EU, but the way to an economic prosperous and democratic country is still far off. What is the right political, economic, and social model for Ukraine? What is the current state of political and economic reforms? What kind of support will Ukraine need from outside? What are the drivers of and barriers for progress?
