The Situation in Ukraine After the Breakthrough on US Funding
This episode, the panel assesses the situation in Ukraine. Hampered by a significant lack of ammunition and air defense systems, as well as manpower shortages, its military has been on the back foot since last year. Meanwhile, Russia has taken to terror bombing Ukrainian cities and has successfully hit the country’s electricity grid. Yet Western support for Ukraine got a boost over the weekend when the US House of Representatives approved an aid package worth $61 billion after more than fourteen months of delays.
