On June 14, Germany will issue its first National Security Strategy. As the first all-of-government document released after Russia’s full-scale attack on Ukraine in February 2022, it offers insights into the German government’s strategic thinking related to the Zeitenwende and its priorities in managing multiple existential risks beyond Russia.
Managing security jointly with partners will likely be a guiding theme of Germany’s first National Security Strategy. We are hence bringing together perspectives from representatives of key allies – France, the United States, and Poland – to discuss the strategy and next steps that must follow.
