This week’s Morning Briefing focuses on the G20 summit which was supposed to be a platform for Russian president Putin and opponents to his war against Ukraine. Russia, however, was solely represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Global macroeconomic challenges are also being discussed as well as the visits of German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Robert Habeck, to Vietnam and Singapore.
