Elena Bolocan is a Project Coordinator at the Institute for European Policies and Reforms where she leads EU integration initiatives in partnership with institutions such as the OSCE, European Commission, and Moldova’s Presidential Administration. She recently supported Moldova’s bilateral screening process with the EU Commission. Elena holds a Double MSc in Public Policy from United Nations University-MERIT and Maastricht University, and a BA in Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, with a focus on policy, finance, and marketing. Fluent in four languages and having lived in five countries, she brings an international outlook and interdisciplinary experience to policy work. In her spare time she mentors pupils through a national startup program and volunteers for an East African NGO promoting circular economy policies. After seven years abroad, she returned to Moldova to contribute to its EU integration process and is eager to strengthen her research-to-policy impact through the Think Tank School.
