This episode we look at the recent diplomatic moves to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. Last week, a 28-point plan emerged that launched a new set of negotiations but was met with criticism from Ukraine and Europe. Among its most controversial issues are territorial provisions, security guarantees, and NATO membership. Even the source of the plan is the subject of debate. We assess the opportunities and risks in this crucial phase that President Zelensky has called Ukraine’s “most difficult moment in history.”
