With almost 30 years in leading political roles in his country, Milo Đukanović has witnessed every decisive moment in the recent history of the Western Balkans, including the wars following the break-up of Yugoslavia, and the peaceful separation of Montenegro from Serbia through the EU-facilitated referendum in 2006. At our event, we welcome the opportunity to discuss current developments and challenges in the Balkans, including international issues, the role of the European Union in the region, the recent solution to the Macedonia name issue and the on-going talks between Serbia and Kosovo.
The event will be held in English and Montenegrin. A simultaneous translation will be provided.
