DGAP’s Research Institute regularly brings together experts and high-level guests to discuss the latest developments in foreign affairs. On March 13, we will focus on European responses to the transatlantic disruptions of the past weeks. Germany will have to act swiftly with its European partners to address the US withdrawal from transatlantic security. Our guests will share fresh insights from the Paris Defense and Strategy Forum hosted by President Emmanuel Macron from March 11 to 13. They will also identify priorities for Franco-German relations as CDU leader Friedrich Merz prepares to form a new German government with the SPD.
