Alix Frangeul-Alves is Program Coordinator for the Strategic Foresight program at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) in Paris. She oversees the coordination of projects on scenario planning and the future of transatlantic relations, partnerships, events, and research outputs that explore key strategic and geopolitical issues. She focuses on US domestic politics and foreign policy and their implications for Europe and transatlantic relations. Before joining GMF, she earned a master’s degree from the French Institute of Geopolitics (Institut Français de Géopolitique), specializing in security and defense, international relations, and diplomacy. Her academic research examined the geopolitical dimensions of the energy transition in the United Kingdom and analyzed the evolution of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from a practical tool to a geo‑economic one in transatlantic cooperation.
