He is also the founder of the European Centre for Climate Foreign Policy, focusing on the intersection of EU industrial strategy and global climate governance. Baptiste holds a PhD in EU governance and public administration, with research on Early Childhood Education and Care governance in Europe. He has extensive experience in academia, including teaching political science and public administration at Helmut Schmidt University.
