Berta López Domènech is a Junior Policy Analyst at the European Politics and Institutions programme at the European Policy Centre (EPC). She works on the Western Balkans and EU enlargement policy, with a particular focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina, the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, the state of democracy and rule of law in the region, the Balkans’ EU accession paths, and the role of CSOs in the process.
Before joining the EPC, Berta was an intern at the Post-Conflict Research Centre in Sarajevo, conducting research about the war and peacebuilding in Bosnia, and she monitored the Bosnian general elections as an international observer. Berta holds a BA in International Relations from the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona and a MA in Advanced Journalism and Reporting from the same university, along with a diploma in New Scenarios in the Balkans from the Complutense University in Madrid.
