Every Thursday morning at 8:30, DGAP’s Research Institute brings together experts and high-level guests to discuss the latest developments in geopolitics. This week, we will discuss EU financial aid to Ukraine. In the beginning, we will provide a quick update on the most recent war situation in Ukraine. The focus of the remaining briefing lies on the question of overcoming the Hungarian blockage of financial aid to Ukraine and the implications for the EU. Hence, we also touch upon broader EU issues such as EU unity, rule of law conditionality and a new package of Russia sanctions.
