Short Bio
Dr. Cédric Koch has been a policy fellow in the Europe Center of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) since June 2026. He is also a project manager there, working on the project “The Macroeconomic and Security Aspects of Europe’s Clean Industrial Transition.”
Previously, among other roles, Koch worked in the German Bundestag on German and European fiscal rules and as a policy advisor for European and international economic policy at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
He earned his doctorate at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB), In 2024, Oxford University Press published his book “The People” vs. the Liberal International Order?.
