DGAP Morning Briefing Russia Invasion of Ukraine Week 3

As Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine enters its third week, DGAP experts assess the military situation on the ground and the increasingly repressive actions taken by the Putin regime to safeguard its future at home. The panel will also address questions related to the refugee situation in neighboring countries and ask which role external actors – China in particular – may be able to play when it comes to stopping the humanitarian crisis unfolding in front of the eyes of a global public.

Speakers:

Dr. Stefan Meister Head of the International Order and Democracy Program, DGAP

Dr. András Rácz Senior Fellow, Security and Defense Program, DGAP

Didi Kirsten Tatlow Senior Fellow, Asia Program, DGAP

Alia Fakhry External Consultant, Migration Program, DGAP

Moderator: Dr. Henning Hoff, Executive Editor, Internationale Politik Quarterly
