Every Thursday morning at 8:30, DGAP’s Research Institute brings together experts and high-level guests to discuss the latest developments in geopolitics. This week’s session will focus on Iran, European security, and the potential of feminist foreign policy – which the German Federal Foreign Office presented guidelines for last week. As popular protests in Iran continue, particularly among women, the government has progressed in enriching Uran and is now close to obtaining weapon-grade levels. Iran's delivery of weapons to Russia also raises security concerns for Europe. In this session, we will discuss the human rights situation in Iran, the potential impact of feminist foreign policy, and how the German government is responding to these issues.
