Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine enters its fifth week, DGAP experts will assess developments in two areas. The first pair of speakers will discuss the military situation on the ground, the ongoing diplomatic negotiations between both sides and with third actors, and the domestic and international conduct of Putin’s regime. With the informal NATO summit taking place in Brussels later that day, the second pair of speakers will address questions related to the role of the United States and transatlantic alliance in the war so far, as well as how domestically sustainable the current trajectory of US foreign policy is.
