The disintegration of governments, states and borders, the emergence of new actors such as ISIS, the nuclear negotiations with Iran and the decline of US influence in the Middle East region have all led to a reassessment of old and new strategic threats to Israel. Professor Eytan Gilboa will analyze the current threats to Israel's national security and the strategies for countering them, while discussing recent events in the region and their broader global impact.
The event will be held in English. Dr. Harald Kindermann, Secretary General of the DGAP, will moderate the discussion.
