Short Bio

Nicolas Téterchen is an assistant in the France/French-German relations program of the Alfred von Oppenheim Center for the Future of Europe at DGAP. He previously worked at the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris. In addition to his work at DGAP, he is working on his doctoral thesis at the University CY Cergy Paris on German strategic culture since reunification.

He completed his studies in Paris at ISIT, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, first in international relations and translation (FR-DE-EN), then in international strategy and diplomacy. There he took part in research projects on European defence and interculturality in the French army. As part of his studies, he spent a semester at Heidelberg's Institute of Translation and Interpretation.
