DGAP Consulting GmbH was founded in September 2011 as a subsidiary of the Sponsorship Association of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP e.V.).
The goal pursued by DGAP Consulting is to generate surpluses through its business activities, which in the long term flow back to the German Council on Foreign Relations via the Sponsorship Association to finance its non-profit work.
For this purpose, DGAP Consulting GmbH provides consulting services and other services on foreign policy and global issues for private-sector companies, associations and institutions, as well as for public-sector clients.
