German-Russian Relations After Putin’s Return
The German government must make more of an effort to seek out dialogue with emerging societal actors in Russia, claimed Stefan Meister. Common interests between Berlin and Moscow are increasingly lacking. The plan of moving Russia toward economic and political reforms within the context of a modernization partnership has been largely unsuccessful until now.
