This episode, our panel examines the escalating transatlantic dispute on Greenland, tariffs, and the rules-based international order. Having expressed a firm interest in acquiring Greenland “for the purpose of National Security,” US President Trump doubled down on his plan by threatening to impose new tariffs on those countries, including Germany, that sent troops to Greenland to affirm its sovereignty. He is expected to deliver a major address in Davos this week. Together with our experts, we discuss the geopolitical and geoeconomic implications of Trump’s foreign policy course.
