The Research Institute of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) consists of around 75 international experts, approximately half of whom are permanently employed research fellows and half are contracted associate fellows. Working within centers and programs that are structured thematically, these fellows also pursue research approaches across disciplines and regions. They regularly share their policy recommendations with political decision-makers and an interested public through publications and events that range from open debates to confidential briefings. DGAP’s experts are also sought-after partners for discussions and interviews. Media inquiries can be addressed to the researchers directly or to the communications team.
