Short Bio

Anna Hauschild has been an associate fellow at DGAP since February 2024. From January 2023 until then, she worked at DGAP as a research assistant for Feminist Foreign Policy.

Previously, Hauschild completed her master’s degree in gender, peace, and security at the London School of Economics with distinction. During her studies, her research focused on feminist and decolonial knowledge production in global nuclear weapons discourse. Another research interest focuses on the role of (feminist) civil society in the context of feminist foreign policy and the Women, Peace, and Security agenda. 

Hauschild has also worked in the civil society sector for a global nuclear disarmament campaign and has been involved with an international feminist peace organization. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Passau, she gained valualbe experience in teaching and research as a student assistant in the department of political science.

In addition, she has studied and worked internationally for longer periods in Australia, Russia, and Pakistan.
