Short Bio
Stefan Halusa has been a senior associate fellow in DGAP’s Center for Climate and Foreign Policy since January 2026. There, he focuses on the influence of geopolitical developments on business models and industry.
Halusa spent many years in management positions in industry, including career stations in Japan and Korea. He was president of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a member of the Foreign Investors Advisory Council of the City of Seoul, which awarded him honorary citizenship. From 2020 to 2025, Halusa was director general of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai. During this time, he was involved in the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business and the 7th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations in Delhi in October 2024.
He studied business administration in Munich.
