Tessa Bartels is a 2024/25 Young DGAP Fellow and is part of DGAP’s “Germany’s New Alliances in Global (Health) Governance” project during her fellowship. A “weltwärts” volunteer service sparked her interest in foreign policy, whereupon she earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Communication Studies at the University of Erfurt. She is currently studying for a Master's degree in Social Economic Data Science at the University of Konstanz. She is a trained paramedic and is involved in voluntary work alongside her studies.
