Short Bio

Sima Bulut has been a Personal Assistant at the Center for Climate and Foreign Policy at DGAP since March 2024. In this role, she supports the management of projects and publications. A key focus of her work is the analysis of the impacts of climate change on human security, particularly with regard to vulnerable groups. Prior to this, she conducted research on environmental conflicts and extractivism at the National University of Colombia.

Sima Bulut completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz, specializing in International Administration and Conflict Management. During her studies, she was part of a research project of the Excellence Cluster "The Politics of Inequality" at the University of Konstanz. She was supported by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung during her Master's studies.
