Short Bio

Ole Spillner is Research Fellow since December 2023. He works on global governance issues. As part of his work, he is responsible for the project "Germany's New Alliances in Global Health Governance", in which he researches new forms of multilateral cooperation and the role of non-state actors in global governance processes, particularly in Global Health. Previously, he worked for several years for the Directors in the DGAP's Director's Office.

Ole Spillner studied European Studies at Maastricht University and completed the German-French double master's degree in Affaires Internationales (International Security) - Political Sciences at SciencesPo Paris and Freie Universität Berlin. During his studies, he focused on trade-offs between security and freedom in the EU, intelligence services, fundamental rights issues in the context of security agencies and European foreign and security policy.
