Short Bio

Svenja Niederfranke is an associate fellow in DGAP’s Migration Program, which she originally joined as a project officer.

Before joining DGAP, she supported the Migration and Diversity Programme at the European Policy Centre as a program assistant. She also worked for the International Migration Law Unit at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva and for the GIZ Representation in Brussels.



Niederfranke holds an LLM in human rights with a focus on international migration lawfrom the University of Edinburgh and a BA in international relations from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Netherlands.
