Short Bio

Hanna Gers has been working in DGAP’s Center for Security and Defense since June 2022 – first as a student assistant and, since October 2023, as a research assistant.

Gers studied political science in Göttingen and Hong Kong and international relations in Berlin, Potsdam, and Christchurch, New Zealand. She wrote her master’s thesis on minilateral security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.
