Short Bio

Mark McQuay has been an associate fellow at DGAP's Alfred von Oppenheim Center for the Future of Europe since July 2021. Previously, he worked as a trainee at the European Union Institute for Security Studies with a focus on EU justice and home affairs. He also completed an internship at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.

McQuay holds a bachelor’s degree in French, Spanish, and Slovene from the University of Nottingham, and he graduated from Collegium Civitas in Warsaw with an MA in international relations. He is currently a PhD candidate at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, examining relations between fledgling states and organized crime.
