As the US election campaign heats up, the future of US support for Ukraine has become a hot-button issue. With a critical legislative bill that includes foreign policy assistance alongside border security and asylum policy measures s still under negotiation in Congress, the likelihood of its passage dwindles. This scenario poses significant risks for Ukraine in its defense against the Russian invasion and places additional pressure on European allies to swiftly expand their assistance to Ukraine, especially in military aid.
