Frank A. Rose
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Space and Defense Policy, US Department of State

In the effort to deter and defend against growing missile threats, the U.S. works with allies and partners globally to cooperate on missile defenses. Europe, the Asia-Pacific as well as the Middle East play major roles in this effort. Recent successes have been achieved with respect to the European Phased Adaptive Approach (EPAA).  However, what will be the next steps to implement viable missile defense capabilities in Europe? What efforts are underway to promote US missile defense cooperation among the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)? What is the status of US cooperation with East Asian allies? Frank Rose will address these key US missile defense priorities. Please join us for a discussion with this distinguished guest.

The event is organized by the USA/Transatlantic Relations Program, and will be held under the Chatham House Rule.  Dr. Jana Puglierin will chair the discussion.
