The EU Enlargement Package 2025: Achievements and Outlook

In early November, the European Commission will release the 2025 Enlargement Package to assess the progress of accession countries and deliver a political outlook for the year ahead. We take stock of the key achievements and obstacles – on Ukraine and Moldova as well as the frontrunner candidate countries Albania and Montenegro – and explore the role of the new German government.
