Over the past three years, practitioners, researchers, and governmental officials from more than 12 countries have discussed challenges and good practices in the tertiary prevention of (violent) Islamist extremism as part of the project “International Forum for Expert Exchange on Countering Islamist Extremism” (InFoEx).
We look forward to inviting members of the InFoEx network and the interested public to an online event to discuss the trends in the deradicalization and disengagement of Islamist extremism that we reflected on during this time. First, we will present exclusive insights into the project’s main results. Thereafter, participants will have the opportunity to discuss trends and developments with practitioners and researchers from our network in small groups. Finally, an international panel will focus on future challenges in tertiary prevention.
