Sixth annual opening seminar in Stuttgart
Following a welcome address from Peter Theiner and Irene Weinz, area director and project manager for the division for International Understanding Between Western Europe, America, Turkey, Japan, and India at the Robert Bosch Stiftung, the participants visited the Schiller National Museum in Marbach am Neckar and discussed “Schiller and France” in the German literature archive.
The Franco-German Future Dialogue is jointly organized by the DGAP, the Institut français des relations internationals, and the Robert Bosch Stiftung. The program brings together 20 young professionals from Germany and France every year. In 2012, the project expanded to North Africa for the first time and facilitated an exchange between participants from Germany, France, and Morocco. In addition, the project cultivates exchanges with entry-level professionals and doctoral candidates from the Mediterranean area in order to make the benefits of Franco-German friendship available to different partners within the context of new topics.
