Shyngys Zipatolla is a senior lecturer at Karaganda Buketov University in Kazakhstan. He was an EU-Central Asia Connectivity Fellow in DGAP’s Center for Order and Governance in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia. This fellowship was a cooperation between DGAP and CAPS Unlock, an independent think tank based in Almaty and focused on Central Asia.
