Bettina Braun is a policy advisor at the German Institute for Human Rights. There, she works in the business and human rights team, focusing on legislative developments in the EU and worldwide. She previously worked on business and human rights developments and corporate accountability issues with civil society organizations in the US. Prior to focusing on this area, she worked in a law firm on international arbitration and investment cases and has experience in EU market regulation and competition law through her work at the Center for European Integration Studies, Bonn, Germany. She holds a Masters of Law from Columbia law school and received her first law degree from the University of Bonn, Germany.
