Michelle Grunwald completed a bachelor's degree in physical engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and is now deepening her knowledge in the master's program "Climate, Earth, Water, Sustainability" at the University of Potsdam. She is currently writing her master's thesis on social-ecological models of climate-induced migration at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. She has been involved with Fridays For Future since 2019, focusing on international views on climate justice, extractivism, and decarbonization. Michelle's passion for international politics has been shaped by numerous academic and private study abroad experiences. Within the Fellowship, she focuses on data analysis and visualization in the context of climate migration, always with a vision to bring natural science insights to policy discourse.
