Policy Project: How to improve gender diversity in policy making?

The political problem I feel passionately about is gender equality. Studies have shown that companies with more women on board thrive more. During the pandemic, it is the woman-led administrations that weathered the storm more successfully. At the same time, a lot of women's needs, lifestyles and health conditions are often overlooked, and female-dominated sectors remain on a political blind spot. It is important for our future to have women take active role in designing more inclusive societies. I also believe that fairer gender representation will help the much needed green and digital transitions. I wish to see more gender-disaggregated research and more policy work targeted at closing the gender pay gap and improving representation of women on all levels.
