Policy Project: Acting Out: Germany’s Engagement in the Indo-Pacific
Beryl Thomas is a Visiting Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations through the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung’s German Chancellor Fellowship program. Her research focuses on the geopolitics of 5G and emerging technologies and their impact on transatlantic relations. She previously worked as an analyst for SAIC and as project assistant with the Asia Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council of the United States. Ms. Thomas holds an MA in security policy studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She also graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Davis with a BA in international relations and Italian studies.
