Policy Project: Toward a New Storyline: Crafting a Transatlantic Narrative for Future Generations 

Anne Flotho-Liersch is a program coordinator at the German Marshall Fund of the United States’ Berlin office mostly working on European and transatlantic issues. Her research interests include political narratives, democratic backsliding and civic education as well as German domestic and foreign policy. She also coordinates the Berlin chapter of the Young Transatlantic Network (YTN) bringing together young leaders to engage critically on challenges facing Europe, the United States, and the transatlantic alliance. As a board member of grassroots think tank Polis180, Anne is currently supporting the project “Politisch? Korrekt!” focused on including youth views on  foreign policy in the German general elections. She holds a double Master’s degree in global studies from the University of Vienna and the University of Wrocław as well as a Bachelor’s degree in European studies from Maastricht University with study visits at the University of Hong Kong and at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.
