Short Bio

Alicia von Voss was deputy director of research management and head of operations at DGAP’s Research Institute until the end of February 2024. Prior to that, she served as the research manager at the Research Institute. She had previously worked in DGAP’s Security and Defense Program since 2017.

Before joining DGAP, Alicia von Voss served as a research assistant in the international security division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. There, she worked on the research projects “Security and Defense in Northern Europe” and “European Defense Monitoring.”

Having studied political science, international relations, and history, von Voss holds a master’s degree in European studies from the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from University College Maastricht.
