Short Bio

Alicia von Voss has been research manager in DGAP’s Research Institute since 2018. Prior to that, she had worked in its Security and Defense Program since June 2017.

Von Voss previously served as a research assistant in the international security division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. There, she worked on the research projects “Security and Defense in Northern Europe” and “European Defense Monitoring.”

Having studied political science, international relations, and history, von Voss holds a master’s degree in European studies from the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from University College Maastricht.
