The European Parliament election in May 2019 will be a watershed moment for the political dynamics within the EU. With this in mind, the Polish Economic Institute – a new Warsaw-based think tank – will present its report “Union of Nations 2.0”. The study contains a vision for the EU’s institutional reforms and suggests pragmatic changes in the economic policy: The EU as a leader of a new, innovation-focused industrial revolution; a Security Union to tackle new threats; and a Civic Union with an emphasis on education and human capital.

Following a brief PowerPoint presentation of the report, speakers are invited to share their ideas in a high-level panel discussion.
