No escape: on the frontlines of climate change, conflict and displacement

This COP29 side event, hosted on 15 November 2024 in the Climate, Peace and Transboundary Resilience Pavilion, spotlighted the findings of the report No Escape: On the Frontlines of Climate Change, Conflict, and Displacement, co-published by UNHCR, IDMC, IMPACT, CGIAR, and others. Panelists discussed the interplay of climate change, conflict, and displacement, emphasising the heightened vulnerabilities of displaced populations in fragile settings and pathways for resilience.
