This episode, the panel assesses the situation in the Middle East after the first direct attack on Israel by Iran on April 14th. While most of the drones and rockets were intercepted, there is widespread concern about the implications for the ongoing conflict. The UN Security Council held an emergency session, and members of the G7 condemned Iran and declared their commitment to stabilizing the region. Together with our experts, we discuss the motives and dynamics at play in Israel and Iran, as well as potential solutions for preventing further escalation.
