While Ukraine is fighting for its survival as a state, countries like Moldova and Georgia could be the next targets of Russian aggression. In this context, a possible fast track for EU membership is being discussed. Is such a membership perspective something that Ukraine and other neighbors to the EU’s east need at this point, or would it lead to devaluation of the entire process? On this panel, we will discuss the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on countries like Georgia and Moldova – including the membership perspective for all three states – and on the future of the EU’s Eastern Partnership policy.
