The United Nations Open-ended Working Group (OEWG) on Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) is convening its Tenth Substantive Session in New York from February 17 to 21. This session is the OEWG’s second-to-last meeting before the conclusion of its mandate (2021-2025), making it a pivotal moment in the development of a future UN mechanism for cyber diplomacy.
In this debrief, state representatives and stakeholders will reflect on the main takeaways from the session, including the key issues discussed, the progress achieved, and the challenges ahead in shaping responsible behavior in cyberspace.
