Impacting policies and policymakers is the essence of think tanking, but political change is often hard to grasp and attribute. How, then, can think tanks and experts be sure that they are making a policy impact? In this Think Tank Lab Lunch Talk, we present the findings of a recent research project on the strategies, tools, and best practices that think tanks around the world are using to achieve – and measure – their impact and invite participants to reflect on strategies for impact-oriented think tanking.
Speakers:
Sarah Bressan Research Fellow, Global Public Policy Institute
Wade Hoxtell Head of Operations, Global Public Policy Institute
Moderator: Claire Luzia Leifert Think Tank Lab Project Lead, German Council on Foreign Relations
