The 2022 Midterm Elections Readout
Thursday, November 10, 2022, 3:30–4:30 p.m. CET
Despite early predictions of Democrats fending off a red wave due to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, inflation and economic uncertainty have pushed the needle in the Republicans’ favor. Still, races remain tight, and this year’s vote will probably yield some surprises on election day. To analyze the results of the midterms, former Republican Congressman Charles Boustany and former Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp will discuss their key takeaways and how the incoming Congress may affect the transatlantic relationship.
