Georg Graf Waldersee, born in 1955, has been involved for many years in the Presidium of DGAP, of which he has been Treasurer since 2019. After studying economics and business administration in Bonn and Hamburg and graduating with a degree in business administration, he initially worked as an auditor in the auditing and consulting of large international companies. Until his retirement in 2016, he was a member of the international management committees of Arthur Andersen and later EY (Ernst & Young) for many years. Since 2016, he has been a member of the supervisory boards of various companies, some of which are listed on the stock exchange.  

Waldersee is a member of executive boards and boards of trustees of various non-profit institutions in the educational and socio-political sector. In 2019 and 2021, the German government appointed him special envoy for the Ukraine gas transit. Since 2018, he has been chairman of the German Committee of UNICEF.
